Cell Phone Bank
The Northfield Council on Aging has joined forces with the 911 Cell Phone Bank
which supplies Seniors and people at risk with a cell phone for 911 use only.
We collect donated cell phones and send them to the 911 Cell Phone Bank. The Cell
Phone Bank takes these donations and returns to us cell phones that are tested,
boxed, and come complete with a charger and an extra battery- ready to distribute.
This is a free program for the seniors and the Council on Aging. Seniors should
think about the safety net a 911 cell phone can provide. Do you drive or take
walks alone? If there is a power outage a 911 cell phone can provide you with
a life line in the event of an emergency. To inquire about getting a free cell
phone that is strictly for 911 use, call Suzanne Sweeney at 413-498-2901 x14.
If you have a cell phone you would like to donate please bring it to the
Northfield
Senior
Center
.
